CoAT is the acronym for Course of Applied Tensegrity. Developed by RMT Marjorie Haynes, this advanced study of Applied Tensegrity integrates a combination of massage therapy techniques to target fascia at different layers in the body.
Working not only with the myofascial system, Applied Tensegrity (AT) also affects the fascial components of the neural, vascular, and lymphatic systems. AT techniques are subtle, yet deep and effective. CoAT Method uses the tension integrity of the fascial system to help fascia unlock restrictive holding patterns, and to regain and maintain ease and fluidity in the body. Clinical application of AT help to improve posture, digestion, respiration, immunity, and movement.
