Please review our updated safety policies and procedures before your appointment. They are in place based on guidelines set by the Health Authority, the BCCDC, Worksafe and our Professional Governing Bodies, to ensure we can provide treatment in an environment that is safe for everyone. These policies are not optional for us, or for any of our patients, so we appreciate your cooperation in following them.
1. If you become unwell, please call right away to reschedule your appointment. We will not provide treatment if you are ill, no exceptions. If you have symptoms consistent with Covid-19, also call 8-1-1 immediately. You will not be charged a cancellation fee however, if you come to the clinic with symptoms we will ask you to leave and charge you a cancellation fee.
2. You will no longer be screened prior to your appointment but your practitioners will screen you for symptoms before your treatment starts.
3. Masks are mandatory for anyone over the age of 12 years old as per the PHO on August 25th 2021.
4. Wash your hands or sanitize them upon entry to the clinic. You can use your own sanitizer or the one provided.
5. We will be limiting the number of people allowed in the waiting area to 3, so try to be ready no more than 3-5 mins before your start time.
6. Call the clinic to update your patient profile with a valid credit card for payment of fees due after your insurance has been processed. Jane App is HIPPA Compliant, which means it's about as secure as it gets, so don't worry about safety. Its encrypted, so nobody on our end can see the card numbers. UPDATE: We are now offering payment via tap as well.
7. If we don't have your insurance information please call or email us with this information at the time of booking.
8. In order to maintain social distancing protocols, patients and staff exiting a treatment room or reception area will have the "right of way". Please yield to anyone exiting the clinic or treatment rooms.
9. Attend your appointment alone, unless it is medically necessary to bring another person.
10. Minimize the amount of belongings you bring. Ideally, everything will fit on a small chair in the treatment room, which we can disinfect between patients.
11. Bring your own water, as we will not be providing water in the waiting area.
12. We are not able to provide a fresh blanket for every massage or acupuncture patient. We will be using two top sheets to ensure privacy, or you can bring your own blanket from home. Please wash it before you come in, and bring it in a garbage bag.
13. We will put the health and safety of our staff, practitioners and patients first, and refuse service to anyone who does not follow these protocols. No exceptions.
We know these are a lot of changes for all of us and it will be strange adjusting to our "new normal." We can assure you that we've gone above and beyond to make your experience here positive, enjoyable and therapeutically beneficial, while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

We will be adding a list of these practitioners below as well as on their practitioner profiles, and in the reminder email, so we can match comfort levels and provide a safe space for everyone.
