We are looking for a part time receptionist to complement our wellness team! Is it you?!
In this role you will be the smiling face at the front desk representing Remedy Wellness. You will be required to be friendly, professional and knowledgeable. You will have the privilege of interacting with our amazing patients and participating on their journey to wellness. You will often be the only receptionist on shift so you will need to be comfortable working solo and have strong initiative – if you see something that needs to be addressed you jump on it!
You will be responsible for:
- Patients: scheduling appointments, processing payments, running insurance claims,
- Office: answering phone calls and emails, keeping supplies clean and organised, word processing, communicating with lawyers and insurance companies, general administrative duties
- Clinic: managing laundry, daily and evening cleaning tasks, organizing
- Practitioners: managing their schedules, contacting patients on wait lists, address individual needs and escalating to manager/owner when needed,
Our ideal candidate has:
- customer service as well as reception and/or office administrative experience (bonus if it is in a similar wellness/clinic environment)
- ability to work unsupervised and productively
- exceptional work ethic, fantastic communication skills, strong initiative and great multitasking abilities
- confident in working with computers (we are practically paperless so this is a must)
-able to perform general cleaning duties like sweeping/dusting as well as bending and lifting up to 50lbs.
- interest in helping others along their wellness journey and in learning about and working with a collaborative team of health practitioners
Bonus: experience working with the Jane App scheduling software and/or experience writing content for websites, blogs and social media
We are offering set shifts (2:00pm – 7:00pm) on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. You may occasionally need to start earlier or finish later, so an average of up to 12 hours a week. This part time position has complimented a student’s schedule in the past. Some weeks more hours are available to help cover vacation or sick days. Our incentives include competitive wages, 30% off most services, an extended health plan, diverse workshops and other learning opportunities. Wage will be determined by previous experience and skill set.
