Kira has always had a passion for massage. Throughout her childhood, she would massage her family members, and even do massage exchanges with her friends. In her eyes, there is nothing more rewarding than making others feel good. She finds great joy in creating an environment where patients can allow their troubles to melt away as they slip into a relaxed state. It is her belief that everybody deserves a place where they can escape, and an environment that ca facilitate positive changes.

She has treated patients with a variety of conditions such as Parkinsons, MS, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, Whiplash Associated Disorder (WAD), rotator cuff tendonitis, bicipital tendonitis, Guillain Barre syndrome, post-polio syndrome, frozen shoulder, cancer, post-mastectomy scarring, and cerebral palsy. She understands that everyone’s medical history and personal experiences are unique, and values the individuality of each patient.

Pain science around chronic pain interests her, and she is planning to continue her education in these areas. She values the importance of new research in this ever-changing world, and is committed to providing the best care for her patients that she can.
Kira understands the importance of fitness, and how activity can facilitate recovery. Her experience with fitness includes playing soccer as a kid, being a dancer for 5 years up until the end of high school, knowledge and personal experience with weight training, resistance training, and cardiovascular exercises. Since each individual is unique, she can create a homecare plan that is tailored to the patient’s activity level, lifestyle, and interests.

In her free time, Kira enjoys hanging out at Shawnigan Lake where she takes long walks down the train tracks, and jumps off the Shawnigan Wharf with her friends. She also enjoys listening to music, drawing, and playing with her little brother.
